  • Deliver Promises
Delivering on your promises is doing what you say you are going to do when you say you are going to do it. Every time you follow through on a commitment, small or large, you build trust. And if you go above and beyond, you make an even stronger impression.



How i identify 

It’s easy to make promises. You just have to say that you will do something. It’s just talk. We make promises to our coworkers, family, kids, and friends. We make promises to everyone. But it’s a lot harder to keep them. Keeping promises means actually doing what you said you would do.

One solution to keeping promises could be to not make promises at all, but that means you are no longer reliable and trustworthy to others. So instead of taking the inactive path, think of applying some new tactics:

I believe that if I give a promise for someone else, the two points should be remembered such as do not over promise and remember. 
For instance, my elder brother who has been living in Italy for five years, sponsored my higher education. It was an unforgettable support from him and I do not forget my elder's brother support. I promised that I never forget my brother's support. 



  • Clear Communication
a process by which information is exchanged between individuals through a common system of symbols, signs, or behavior

Communication is the activities of sending information or ideas through speech, visualization, writing or other means.  It is a dynamic process of exchange of ideas between sender and receivers that takes place around us all the time. It is a fundamental process for living being for exchange of feeling


how I personally demonstrate

During the course time, I studied the degree while working with different types of facility management in Australia. At that time, I was responsible for various job roles in the facility services. For example, I had to communicate with  top level, middle leveland lower level management in the facility services. I worked with them and enhanced my personal relationship skills through communication.

  • Innovate

Innovation is not just represented by introducing or implementing new ideas or methods. The meaning or definition of innovation can be defined as a process that involves multiple activities to uncover new ways to do things. This definition of innovation puts the emphasis on new ways to get the same or better results. Usually, this is taken as innovation meaning improvement. The innovative ways in which the same result can be produced, are most often faster or cheaper than the old process.

If you answer the question: What is innovation? The concept of innovation should not be confused with creation, since this can be defined as the act of making, inventing, or producing something. However, new innovations can be realized with creativity. People need to think outside the box in order to create incremental enhancements.

Here are some ways to demonstrate innovative thinking at work:

  1. Be the first to provide a solution.
  2. Write down new ideas.
  3. Act on your ideas.
  4. Share innovative ideas with management.
  5. Learn and incorporate new skills.
  6. Ask for input on new ideas.

  • Embrace Change
Embracing change means you want to try new things, be adventurous, or improve yourself. To embrace change, you need to see things in a positive light and know you have the ability to do anything. Having the right perspective, embracing change becomes easier.

  • Respect
By definition, respect means to demonstrate “high regard” for or special attention to something or someone. However, this definition alone does not tell us what that ‘something’ is or how it is done. The requirements for respect must be considered from both a social and individual perspective.


how I personally demonstrate

For example, I have been working as a supervisor for three years. My ideal working environment is a busy working environment. As a facility management, we receive various types of complaints from the clients. As a supervisor, I respect my staff members as well as clients. 

  • Collaborate
The best way to define collaboration would be to outline it as the process of two or more people or organizations working together to complete a task or achieve a goal. It is also defined as two or more people working together to achieve shared goals.


how I personally demonstrate

For instance, working with team and sharing knowledge with resources are the most important facts for collaborate. As I mentioned above, when we work together, we can achieve the difficult targets respectively. In professional working environment, the cleaners and the building management work together for achieving long term and short-term goals. It also happens in my personal life 

For instance, as a family, our family members were struggling to buy a beautiful house in Sri Lanka. My father, mother and elder brother worked hard to achieve the personal targets. I personally believe that the problems and all experiences teach about the concept of collaboration.
